Corringham's Fish Bar

Highly recommended. The chips were cooked to perfection and top quality. I had a battered sausage which was also perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional. Very friendly atmosphere and seating was also very comfortable. A 7 star from me.

Walked in for a takeaway around 06:30 pm and ordered a large cod and chips, and paid £14:50. Waited a long time for the cod to be cooked. Constantly on the phone, but kept telling me how good the fish was going to be between calls. What I got was a cheap cod tail fillet with little flesh on it. Plus a large pile of small dried out old chips.

Ask for small fish and chips , no problem cooked fresh , took about 10 minutes, as a takeaway meal as no restaurant. Found cod to be of excellent quality and well cooked ,as with the chips.

Food was absolutely shocking. Used to be the best chip shop around here now it is the worst. One cod roe was cooked fresh the other one had been sitting there what seemed like last week never using again . Also, the man who I believe is the owner talks to his staff like a bit of rubbish he is very intimidating and not a nice man

I just had the best piece of fish I think I've had in a long time, batter was done perfectly and the fish was perfect too. Chips and curry sauce to finish it off. We'll done Corringham fish bar.

Absolutely disgusting, I bought a kebab from this place and I found a dead fly in my food, I feel Absolutely sick to my stomach. Also to make this experience way better, the man that worked there decided to try and blame me for the fly in my food. This is disgusting. This is a major health hazard and hygiene problem. Not happy. Glad he gave my money back. Very disappointing.

Chips are either overcooked or are raw on the inside and you don't get much. There's always a long wait when no ones there and it's obviously not worth the wait.
