Sizzlers

Have been a customer of theirs for years & so have my family - but tonight’s experience has left me really disappointed. On arrival - I was charged £1 more at the door, not sure why (as I had the exact money ready) but was told it was £1 more expensive. Not to worry, I closed the door to go and get another pound coin, gave it to the driver and thought oh well. On further thought, did the delivery driver do this purposely & does he also do it to everybody else? Why would the total be different to what is shown on my order? It’s not like I am bothered about the £1 difference, but it’s the principal… On opening the bag, there was a thick black hair laid on top of one of the rice boxes (not directly in the food, but on top of the carton) still, it was enough to put me off a little before we’d even seen the food. The chicken tikka kebab was INSANELY spicy, like crazy spicy! I’ve had it many times and it’s never been like that before. I couldn’t manage more than 3 pieces of chicken, it blew my head off seriously! I don’t really like spice by any means but I can manage some spice in a meal.. but this was somethin else! Curry’s okay as usual but not nice enough to make this a positive experience. I’m a little disappointed as I once would recommend this as the best curry place around, but now I would not recommend it and will be going elsewhere

Hi went there today for the first time . Ordered the XXL kerbab and a meat feast pizza . They aren't joking about the kerbab it was bloody massive I only just got it in the car . It would easily feed 5 . Got home and cut it into smaller pieces. What can I say . It was fantastic full off meat and the taste was incredible. Very tasty. Then I tried the pizza . Again it was lovely it had large chunks off meat on it and cooked to perfection. Can't wait to go back and try a curry with some side dishes. A big 5 all round

Usually awesome, the food is always great.... But our online order to collect was incorrect. We contacted sizzlers immediately on finding out our order was wrong. Unfortunately they seemingly disagreed with us. Missing item/wrong meal. We had to fetch the correct food, they did not offer to deliver the the rest of the order. Massively disappointed. I totally understand human error but the customer service was appalling. When we returned to the shop the staff were obnoxious and called us lairs. Really spoiled our evening. On returning with the correct curry and the missing onion bhajis, the bhajis were barely cooked through. I have no issues with any replies from sizzlers to this review, I would like at least an apology.

Where do I start. Been Visiting Sizzlers occcasionaly now for years and will not look anywhere else for my Donner meat. The best kebabs not in town but in the district. The kebabs are absolutely unreal every time without fail and the big XL ones are second to none. The pizzas chips burgers etc are all also bang on and very nice. I have just tried my first curry from and wow can’t believe I haven’t tried it sooner. One of the best I’ve had, is there anything these boys can’t do? 10/10 every time and top lads would recommend to anyone.

I ordered a xxl mixed kebab and asked for 1/3 everything 1/3 meat and salad and a 1/3 plain just meat and it came with everything all over it chilli, salad ! When I contacted sizzler after picking my order up ! I was fist told it was probably becos in travel it had all mixed up! I laughed and said not a chance it's all tightly wrapped I ask manager what was he going to do and his response was he couldn't do anything as he was busy so I offered to take order back and he blatantly refused to allow me to take back and swap my order to what I wanted 3 kids not eaten the kebab what they wanted due to chilli all over ! This was also a order due to a birthday celebration ! The food is always nice when correct ! After service and response from owner awful 😫
