Hay's Shack

Excellent, pleasant service. Couldn't fault their beef burger with pulled pork. Crispy chicken thigh burger had a very light batter, and was very tender. Sweet potato fries crispy. Don't get the onion rings-solid and bready. You can take away or dine in with no fear of hidden costs. Fair prices. Would revisit.

Ordered a Raclette burger, sweet potato fries, mac & cheese and chicken thighs for collection. They were running about 10mins late and apologised but we were in no rush and they gave us a few extra dips. Food was very tasty with generous portions. Parking is a bit tricky so would allow extra time if collecting.

Popped in for some food in the evening. Lovely welcoming owners. Great tasting food at very good prices, and generous portions. Best sweet potato fries I've had! Chicken burger well cooked and succulent. Will be back next time I'm working in the area.

Went in this afternoon as passed many times whilst in Sandwich, a nice immediate friendly welcome and sat straight away. Chose our meals and drinks and quite promptly they arrived, I had the Quad burger and it was absolutely delicious, juicy and meaty with bacon and cheese, also a couple of sides halloumi and cajun fries, My wife had the chicken flatbread with sweet potato fries and onion rings, Her food was just as delicious also, Portion sizes very good and value for money in my opinion. The owner was serving today, Very friendly and open to a conversation. Will certainly be back again soon. 5 🌟

Lovely restaurant located in Sandwich. Food was really nice and tasty, service second to none. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, leading to a great atmosphere. Good verity of food including Vegan options. On top of all the above really dog friendly too! Thanks for a lovely meal and experience!
