Great afternoon meal for come out within 20 minutes with no bother servers came straight to the table to ask if we wanted a jug of water and with the menu’s. Food was brilliant with no complaints really dog friendly and even brought them out some treats water and a sausage when the food came out. Service was especially good with all the staff fussing the dog and being lovely in general. Quite a nice little hidden gem in my opinion.

A must visit when on the island. Food is delicious and the staff are great too! Spoilt our dog too! In our party we had two crab salads with egg and my goodness it was divine! The crab was so fresh and plenty of it! Also had the Brie starter and that went down very well! All had the homemade Mama Fox’s pie.. beef and Stilton and wow is all I can say! That is some pie! Loved it all, couldn’t fit in a dessert but wish we had as the menu sounded yummy! Will return, thank you for a lovely lunch!

Visited this lovely family-run pub for a Sunday lunch with my family of five, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Every single meal was exceptional — full marks across the board. I had the liver and bacon, which was absolutely to die for, while my wife enjoyed a beautifully cooked Sunday roast turkey. The kids were equally happy with their meals, each choosing something tasty from the children’s menu. We also had desserts, which were very tasty and the perfect finishing touch to an already fantastic experience. The pub itself is stunning, with a warm and inviting interior complemented by beautiful floral décor that really adds to the atmosphere. The staff were fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. As a bar manager myself, I don’t say this lightly — a big well done to the entire team and owners. You’ve created something truly special here. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

We had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Fabulous roast beef served pink just how we like it, fresh veg and lovely cauliflower cheese topped off with great friendly service. And our dog even had his own dinner, what more could you ask for? Definitely one of the best we’ve had. Would highly recommend - photo of desert was more than half demolished - it was huge!

We visited as we read they offered an excellent gluten free selection - this was an understatement! Not only is the selection excellent for both normal food and GF food, the food is outstanding! The portions and the quality are 5 star! The staff are attentive and friendly! The environment is cosy and really welcoming! For anyone visiting the Isle of Wight who wants some beautiful food and a lovely setting to enjoy it in, this is your place! We loved it so much, we came back the following evening! 🥰

Excellent quality food, worth every penny. Busy and buzzing as always, but the kitchen and front of house staff did a Excellent job with our large order, brought out quickly and together. Tasted sublime, and definitely will be back again. Food to die for 💙 We came back in 2026 because we knew they could provide the best food on the Isle of Weight, 11 of us celebrating our daughters 18th and they coped brilliantly, ensuring all our food came out together, was absolutely delicious, plentiful and just perfect. We will be back next year.
