Chunghwa

Got the lunchtime buffet (just asked for a bit of everything) and a can of coke zero, was £8.10. Food was lovely, very tasty and the box was full. Wee woman serving was lovely as well.

Foods normally great, but tonight's there was a strange taste to either curry sauce or the chicken curry roll... so went in the bin.

Absolutely Disgusting! The first and last time I ever order their bin food. Waited over an hour for delivery….. it arrived dehydrated, cold and absolutely filthy, smelling of old cooking grease in a plastic bag that looked about 10years old. Even my dog didn’t eat the rice! 🤢 🤮 Just look at the picture, would you eat that? Curry wasn’t even opened…….. straight in the bin where it belongs!

I have used the chunghwa for many years now , always found it very good ,food service and delivery time etc, Tonight I ordered a wee delivery paid for it with my card over the phone as I always do it is always delivered in great timing , from call to home around 20mins Tonight an hr has passed no chinese , so I called as its Sunday night and a lot of Chinese close early so I thought that might be a reason but no aparentlythe paper regarding my order got "stuck" in the machine, the lady apologises and says it will be out ASAP, an she will give us a in her words a wee free bee , the guy got here in record timing , and the freebie Was 4 fortune cookies ?? No I wasn't expecting a meal or anything but maybe a wee soup or a portion of pring rolls, but 4fortune cookies is just an insult I would have preferred nothing rather than them,is this how they appreciate my years of custom , not a happy bunny , dnt thing I will be using them again. , as they clearly dnt care about thier customers

Ordered through their website tonight and was a good order for 3 people have ordered from Chung Wa before and enjoyed our meal but this time no, don't know what they have done to the sweet and sour sauce it tasted bland no bits of pineapple in it, just coloured water not thick to stir very watery. This was for a birthday treat will not be ordering again from here, best stick to making it myself.

2nd time my partner has went in for a lunch box , & for £7.50 was shocking the portion size , & was stone cold , never had a problem before , it’s only when the older woman is on , I’ll stick to the great chungwa in clarkston same owners but I’d say that’s far better ,

Love this Takeaway but seriously need to fix menu. When ordering online half of it is missing. Snack meals are missing
