Best buffet experience ever! The lady at the front desk was so kind. Ridiculously good price, they should increase it, go here whilst it's low. She told us to tell her if any dish was running out, and the staff kept our tables clean of old plates. 10/10 - honestly, stop reading and go there now!
Fair selection of food and dessert for a low price (off peak). The place seems clean and tidy. Friendly staffs. Parking limited on the property but planty more nearby.
The food was generally enjoyable, with a variety of flavors that stood out. However, there were instances where the wait time for refill was long, even when the restaurant was not crowded. The menu offered a thoughtfully curated selection of items, ensuring quality over quantity. The spacious layout of the venue was appreciated, as it provided ample room for guests to move around comfortably. The starters were particularly delightful, leaving a strong impression, and the desserts were equally satisfying, rounding off the dining experience on a sweet note. Overall, while there were some challenges with service speed, the quality of the food made for a pleasant outing.
Well that was an experience. £11.90 on a Sunday and I can’t say it was horrible but I can’t say it was good either . If you have a thing for chicken this is the place for you . Practically everything on the buffet is chicken based and most of it was VERY dry . The soup was ok The puddings were frozen bought in so can’t go wrong . Jelly was vile and didn’t have any water added to it 🤮 Would have to give Swindon buffet a 2.5 out of 5 rating sadly won’t be going back again . 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Read the reviews and went with no expectations And it was great! Yes, the nice lady mentioned in the other reviews was there and on top form. Yes, some of the food trays were empty but all got filled at some point. Good that they produce a little and often. Yes, the dessert cabinet contained cheesecakes and gateaus from well known frozen wholesalers.....but what more do you want after a belly full of Chinese? And there was quite a good choice of fresh fruit and unusual flavours of ice cream too. Yes, it retains the atmosphere of an inner city pub which it once was. I don't go to all you can eats for authentic oriental ambience, so that's OK too. Very satisfied with the food
Saw quite a few reviews of this place but finally went yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Food was decent, cheap, and filling. You know what you're getting! Staff, though young, couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Great customer service. Interior is the only thing that lets it down. It is very clearly an old pub that they're (hopefully) in the process of fully converting into a buffet. Inside is fairly horrible but as long as you're not at a Chinese buffet in Swinton to critique the interior design, you'll be fine. Decent!
A lovely place to eat, food is beautifully cooked and always plenty of options. We've always had space to get in and definitely get our fill. My one slight complaint is that the premises looks like it's starting to come apart in places. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with a good coat of plaster and paint.
