Grilla Kitchen

Thought I’d give Grilla Kitchen a try. The food was alright overall. I had the peri peri chicken rice box, but if I’m honest, the chicken could’ve done with a bit more seasoning. It wasn’t bad, I just ended up adding my own seasoning when I got home to give it a bit more flavour. The customer service was really good though, and they gave me a free coleslaw, which was a nice touch and definitely appreciated. The only thing I’d say is that I was told this place is "better than up north." That’s a very bold claim to make! 😂 The food up north is on another level, so I’d probably avoid making comparisons like that and just let the food do the talking.

Grilla Kitchen is hands down the best food in Reading, no contest. The naga doner is unreal proper heat, loads of flavour, tender meat, not one of those "spicy for the sake of it" kebabs. And the loaded fries are honestly sexy, crispy, loaded properly, not stingy with toppings like some places. Shoutout to Hasan who served us an absolute legend, so friendly and made sure we were sorted. Best worker there hands down, he needs a raise. Made the whole experience even better. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out big time. Will be back for the naga doner and fries again and again. 10/10

Grilla Kitchen did not disappoint! We had the Grub Box and the Steak & Fries….both were absolutely unreal. The steak and fries are amazing value for money, an easy 10/10. The portions were huge, we were absolutely stuffed… but still left no crumbs. Highly recommend. Stopped to chat with one of the owners and compliment the chef, really nice guys!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Highly Recommend! This place is absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with generous portions that are totally worth the price. The menu has great variety, so there’s something for everyone. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and super attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting—perfect for eating in or taking food to go. Everything from start to finish was top-tier. I’ll definitely be coming back again
