Torna a Surriento

After driving all day in North Wales we both wanted some nice quiet place to relax with good food. After reading about the reviews and recommendations from our hosts we decided to give this place a visit. Little did we realise how good of an Italian place it was tucked away in a parking lot in front of the sea We started off with the espresso martini which was smooth, buttery and oh so drinkable. Next came the scallops, juicy plump beauties with little slices of salami with a divine dressing of olive oil lemon and herbs and spices. The bread that came with it turned out to be quite short in mopping up those delicious juices. For mains we chose the pasta vongole and the gnocchi with mushroom. The pasta vongole, while it was my first time having it with cherry tomatoes, was filled to the brim with lovely clams and was superbly balanced. The main star however was definitely the gnocchi. The pillowy light puffs is potato and flour I suspect were handmade along with the brilliant mushroom and sausage sauce. It was just a stupendously well done dish and we couldn't wait to have more of it. We rounded up the meal with the customary tiramisu and bid ourselves goodnight with a definite plan on returning as soon as possible. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

My friends brought me here for my birthday. The staff were incredibly friendly and everything was pretty quick. The garlic bread was amazing! Thank you for my birthday tiramisu it was delicious.

This is hands-down the best Italian restaurant outside of Italy. It's authentic Italian food - no mass produced rubbish, just delicious, hearty Italian fayre. Can't recommend this place enough. Make sure you book well in advance!

Working away from home and stopping at a nearby hotel noticed this place near the pier, didn't look very much from the outside, but went for food because of how close to hotel, place is absolutely amazing, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and the food was brilliant, I do like Italian food and this felt real - was up there with the best I've tried.....eccellente 👍🏻👍🏻

Incredible place! We raced in dishevelled from being caught in the storm, without a booking and a little later in the evening and they were all so accommodating, they had thankfully had a missed reservation and so had a table of four we could sneak in on (every table was otherwise full - sign of a good restaurant!). They explained that the kitchen was closing soon so we made sure to read the menus relatively quickly although they didnt make us feel rushed at all! Food was incredible, everyone enjoyed everything and great value for such quality food! Service was speedy while also making us feel comfortable not rushed! Will absolutely go back if I am ever back near Anglesey!

This slice of Napoli in Bangor is an absolute gem. It is very unassuming externally, so I was prepared to be underwhelmed. However, everything was spot on. The menu was extensive and interesting, service was prompt and very polite, with orders appearing quicker than any restaurant I've been to in months. The food was authentic and very tasty. This place had quiet, slightly subdued atmosphere, which suited me and my daughter fine. Strongly recommended
