Top Deck Fish & Kebab Restaurant

While the food is reasonably priced, the quality was disappointing. The doner meat was undercooked, too soft, and lacked the crispy texture you'd expect. The chips were cold and soggy. Overall, it's best avoided.

Lush fish and chips for a FIVER in BARKING!!!! It's Barking delicious. I spotted this board saying fish and chips with a can for 6.20 which is cheap so no harm in trying. It turned out to be a fiver because I didn't want the can. The good thing is that the fish was fried to order so I had to wait. It was a small piece of fish that delivered which I'd rather have than something not nice but cheap and a big portion that I wouldn't want to finish. Everything was perfect in the sense the oil was clean and there was no oil lingering on my fingers. Fish was tasty and flaky with skin attached while the batter was light and moreish with an appetizing colour. It was definitely comforting having some good fish and chips which really made my day. They also serve kebabs and lacmachun.

Chips were ok but the battered sausage tasted like it has been cooked in the morning and left in the hot counter til night time. Also seemed incredibly uniform so assume defrosted rather than freshly cooked and battered. Ate the chips, binned 90% of the battered sausage

Wish I could give zero stars the food mostly tastes stale since my last few visits and what I found out in my last visit was surprising made me stopped going there from now. I found out they sell halal food but sells alcohol too. As Muslim I was shocked to know they serve alcohol in the back lounge, anyone who’s a Muslim please don’t be deceived into thinking they’re just a halal takeaway business don’t go their because as Muslim you’re not supposed to be eat from a place where alcohol is sold.

Standards and portion have fallen and reduced. I used to go but stopped due to the price increased but same standards. Used to get the fish n chips. Hope they improves one day.

This is a pretty decent restaurant which serves fresh food. Although they take time in preparation but the quality is always good with decent prices. Staff is professional and friendly. I usually eat their fish and chips and they are the best ones you can find in Barking!

Great value for money. The guy was very friendly, and we ordered 2 kebabs; the portions were very big. The only thing I will recommend is that the sauce needs a bit more flavour.
