What a find! We had light breakfast with choice of eggs and bread. Thank goodness we didntt have big breakfast! Gluten free is well catered for, i messaged before hand and they said it was no problem, and it wasn't! The array of teapots and China there is lovely! There was a massive teapot on the shelf by us that I was admiring, cant beat a good teapot my son in law would say: a lovely waitress laughed and joked that she'd be checking my rucksack, I told her not to worry, I couldn't get it in! Seriously, a place so worth a visit and if lunches are anything like the standard of breakfasts, you're quids in! Great start to the day!

What a fabulous find! Last morning in Barry and found this place open for breakfast. Fantastic service, great food and brilliant atmosphere and a gorgeous story behind this place. Music playing took me back to all the songs my mum brought me up on and i felt very nostalgic. Absolutely worth a visit.

What a fabulous place. We called in for breakfast on Sunday morning. Food was fantastic and very generous portions. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly and belpful owners. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent food with generous portions. My partner and I had the mushroom and spinach lasagna and the vegan lasagna (for £8.99 each). Both included salad, garlic bread and chips. It took about 20 minutes to prepare these dishes (which was ok), but if you want a quicker meal I recommend the sandwiches. The cafe was clean and tidy and the staff were very nice.

Maggie Jo’s is a Coffee house in the style of the 50’s and 60’s. We have had breakfast for the second time and the food is very good. Very nice and friendly owner and personel. If you ever come to Barry, get your breakfast at Maggie Jo’s!
