The Homestead Cafe & Bar

Lovely cafe in the park. Very eco friendly allowing customers to use their re-useable cups and return them at the end. The coffee is great and the pizza is as good as any in Beckenham. Very kid friendly , lots of families. Heaps of outdoor seating and a nice place to sit and relax. Ice cream is also great.

This place prepares the best pizza in South London for sure. The coffee and vegan sausage roll are also delicious. They have fresh beer from the tap also excellent. The formal garden and large park surroundings are stunning. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is one of my favorite places.

Update: Another enjoyable meal here, this time bánh mì brioche and an iced latte with pea milk. (Grateful for no extra charge for oat or pea milk!) Happy to see many vegan meals, baked goods and ice cream. I enjoyed the black-bean patty with mushrooms brioche burger - a satisfying meal. There was vegan cheese available for the pizzas, and the daily soup was vegan. Yay! Well-organized operation with sustainability in mind.

Excellent coffee and delicious food! Seating is all outdoors, with umbrellas and a covered area for if it rains. For lunch I had the bacon & egg brioche which came with a very generous portion of streaky bacon. I highly recommend the pizzas which I came back for later in the afternoon. The pizzas are all freshly made and cooked in a pizza oven. Around the corner there is a bar with beers on tap. I had the Kernel Table Beer and then the Orbit Lager. It’s normally busy, with a lively and family friendly atmosphere. The queue was out of the door when we visited, but it didn’t take long before we were at the front.

Lovely place, great seating area, the pizza's looked good. I may try one on my next visit but I had a lovely ice cream.
