Shalimar Tandoori

First time at shalimar tandoori takeaway i ordered a chicken Tikka main with a large chicken tikka pilau a chicken tikka naan and a madras sauce no peas and a massala sauce the red one which was full of onions, which I don't not like so disappointed with that sauce. Chicken tikka was nice madras sauce was better than the massala sauce and the naan was lovely it came to £22:70 in total which isn't bad value so give it try if like me you like a curry I did mix mine i must admit.

Shalimar special meal, very disappointing...very few small pieces of chicken in a watery sauce...rang and they delivered another which was slightly better but certainly not the usual standard. As a customer of over 35 years have never had such a dreadful meal and having rang to ask the question ( as we thought)the business is under new ownership.

Fantastic curry restaurant! 🍛 The food was full of flavour, freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, attentive and quick without being rushed. Great atmosphere too. We’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend!

The food here is absolutely disgusting. The chicken used is clearly old and reheated- smelt disgusting. The tikka masala sauce just tastes like a sharp tomato sauce used for pasta- not creamy or a nice flavour at all. Hard pieces of chopped onion, not properly softened and cooked down. Horrible vegetable curry- just lots of peas and mushrooms. Some items burnt. Just really really low quality overall. I’m disgusted that they can send that out to paying customers. Absolute lack of respect.

Food is fantastic! Was delivered in half an hour and was piping hot 🔥 Shalimar special is tasty 😋

Ordered a takeaway and was delivered very fast to my surprise, both me and my partner was looking forward to our fridsy night takeaway but was very disappointed as there was not much difference between the korma and bhuna. Ordered two different types of bread but both tasted plain. Then to top it all off 2 o'clock in morning the sickness kicked in. I will never order from hear again.
