St Edmunds Butchers

We ordered a couple of bbq packs for a party at the weekend. All of the meat was delicious especially the minted lamb koftes. The pre order online works very well and the service in the shop was very friendly. Thank you St Edmunds butchers- highly recommend!

We came to the shop on Saturday at 2.45 pm not for the meat but the Eccles cakes, steak and Stilton pie's and a pork pie . The staff were very professional no fault, The Eccles cakes you couldn't eat them a lot of filling but unfortunately the pasty was hard as rock, I suggest you go to Melton Mowbray for lessons on the cake, they went in the bin . the pie's yet again the pastry too hard some meat but unfortunately you couldn't taste the Stilton . The pork pie, ok but not great . Try Boston sausages exceptional

We have recently moved to the area and liked the look of the meat when passing so we gave the grass fed ribeye a go. Since that we’ve regularly visited and always been very impressed with the value and quality of the meat. Xmas box was absolutely stunning and our family were wowed by it all. Always great service and brilliant banter with the butchers themselves. Can’t recommend highly enough

Absolutely amazing customer service!! Gained a loyal customer with me with the way he handled me messing up buying some braising steak for my mum. Quality of meat is exceptional and a large range too. Really clean premises.

I just want to say how polite, professional, and welcoming the person was who served me today. Busy putting out some raw meat. Cleaned his hands best he could. (Should be a wash basin there?). Came over to me quickly. Offered me hot or cold on the pastie I was buying. Propper old style customer service. Seriously nice to have such good service! Martin Fooks.

Brilliant meat, great service always. Have bought steak, sausages, burgers etc etc over the years and never anything but great.

Simply the best butchers ive ever used the customer service is second to none the quality of meat is insane and prices are not far off supermarkets but the quality makes the extra expense more than worth it so happy to have found this gem of a butchers
