BABA'S

The food was really good. I got the chicken tikka wrap and it was simply amazing, the bread was soft and pillowy and the chicken tikka sauce had a deep flavour which worked really well with the peppers and onions in the wrap. The guy who took my order at the counter was kind and friendly. Overall a really good place, this is second time going and both times were superb.

Very poor from Baba’s. Portion sizes have gone ridiculous. £6 for 3 samosas is disrespectful, have been a customer for a long time and every time I order they get more stingy. £6 for 3 thin somasas is digusting, no longer bring salad for a £30 order, charge for everything and never give anything on the house like before. Even the portion of chicken in the curry’s have got less. Before moving to Albany road they were very generous and great, but since the move they have sacrificed all their quality for money, so disappointed will be going elsewhere from now on. Spoke to a worker on the phone with a horrible attitude, told me "don’t order if you don’t like" and "order elsewhere" when I raised a complaint, zero customer service skills, no appreciation for customers and a scam to charge that amount for such a small portion. Poor handling of the situation, absolute joke, disregarded all complaints and was completely rude. Uber as shown on the receipt have put myself as a loyal customer, but I was told on the phone "we have loads of loyal customers". Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, for price, value for money or customer service. 👎

Kept seeing their IG posts/ads and thought I needed to try these wontons and they were actually really nice for a quick fix of something different. They were plain (not spicy thank God) but really nice and crispy and juicy. They do come with a sauce. Next time I think I'll try their biryani and aubergine!

Was eager to try this place after seeing their instagram and the great reviews. Unfortunately food was flavourless especially the biryani and tikka wrap, also way overpriced

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and great service. Highly recommended!

One of the best takeaways in Cardiff for sure. Spot on everytime.

I went Baba's last week and ordered a pick up deal and a large biryani. It was by far the best Indian food I've had in Cardiff. I highly recommend to go there and try their food. Customer service was really good and the server was really kind. She recommended the biryani and pick up deal and it was the most amazing food I've ever tried it was truly mouth watering.
