Royal Outpost Thai & Asian Restaurant Carlisle

First time going today (Sunday) and we will definitely be back! Absolutely delicious food! Best chicken ramen I’ve ever had, big portion and full of flavour! I didn’t have the Thai green curry but was told it was very very nice! The service was brilliant, very friendly, polite staff and accommodating. Such a lovely restaurant and can’t wait to visit again to try another one of the delicious dishes! Thankyou!

Every single dish was superb! Had to order the lamb skewer again it’s that good!! Fantastic staff! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at The Royal Outpost restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The tiger prawn starter was an absolute highlight. If we lived in Carlisle, we would definitely be regulars.

Had an amazing meal and wonderful service with good recommendations per our requirement. Compliments to the chef and team. Mango sticky rice (not in the pic) lived upto the reputation we had heard before visiting, the other dishes also were a delight.

The food in this restaurant was incredible. The best chicken satay we’ve ever had. The surf n turf noodles were incredible and my partner said he’d go back today for them or would have ordered another bowl to go. The chicken bibimpap was flavourful and absolutely delicious. Nothing a single negative about the food can be said. The only minor negative of the whole experience was that they had a chill playlist on but they were all sad songs. But this did not have an impact on our experience. The service was incredible and the cocktails were lovely. Would highly recommend

Sunday evening. Business trip. There wasn't much open in Carlisle. I was delighted to find this place open. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Service was quick but not rushed. Food was very tasty.

Visited this restaurant recently with my partner and had a really lovely experience. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, which made us feel very welcome. For starters, I had the chicken satay – perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavour. For mains, we tried the red curry prawns and teriyaki steak, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The prawns were rich and aromatic with just the right amount of spice, while the steak was cooked beautifully and coated in a tasty teriyaki glaze. Overall, a great dining experience with good food and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit!
