Wrythe Green Fishbar

Decided to look for a decent fish n chip shop in the area since our local one had started to lose quality after changing hands. 20 mins drive later we get to WGF. First impressions, clean, bright, and vibrant shop. The owner (Erkin) greeted us instantly with a smile and a friendly welcome. The food was fresh and very tasty, I couldn't fault it. Great service and tasty fish and chips, definitely worth the drive

Very hospitable and welcoming management. The fish n chips were surely amongst the best I’ve had. Went to pick up as they were offering delivery after 4pm but totally worth the drive. Good portion size and crispy coating with not very oily chips. Enjoyed every bite. Above all my father loved it more 🙌🏻

I have always been very impressed with the fish and chips in the past but tonight we have had to throw away all the batter on the fish. It was soggy and greasy, also the chips were barely warm. Great disappointment.

Ordered via collection using their website app and it was ready in under 15 minutes. Went for 2 large cod and 1 large chips - very nice portions ! Will definitely order again as we are new to the area and always looking for nice local places to support.
