Soul of Peri Peri

Brilliant spot! Delicious, great value food and genuinely friendly service. Such a treat to have one of these in Darlington now - already looking forward to going back. And highly recommend the Nashville chicken!

Had been thinking about trying this place for a little while. Ended up going in for a meal. Absolutely spot on. Food was unreal, amazing prices too. The guys in the shop couldn’t have been any more friendly. Will be back soon. If you enjoy your food, give this place a try!

Lovely food, great service explained all what to have even given a free taster. Only reason for lower mark on atmosphere. We were the only ones there at a lunch time. Very clean and fresh food will make sure we come back when here next

I just left with my family, and after hearing some of our friends talking about it, this place definitely exceeded our expectations! This peri-peri chicken is the best I've had in the UK, the one with lemon and herb is so close to the one we eat in Portugal! The service was amazing! We were not sure whether we had asked for the rice, but the gentleman didn't even think twice about giving some to our boy. Always with a smile on his face! The chicken is tender and full of flavour! The half parmo my husband had was so big he could barely finish is! My 1/4 chicken meal was more than enough for me, and the garlic sauce is so nice! I have only good things to say about this place, and now I know why it is so popular in our friends circle!

I had a Takeaway so can’t comment on the atmosphere inside. However, the Italian chicken burger I had was probably the nicest burger I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked and really good quality. Definitely go back!
