Excellent real ale pub offering a good selection of ales locally and further afield. Staff are great and always happy to serve with a very jovial atmosphere. Can get busy at weekends so get in early to secure a seat in the traditional bar or lounge area. Terraced outdoors which is good for summer. Highly recommended.
Popped in as I met a mate there, had a drink it’s a lovely little place, I don’t know why but I had a weird feeling about this place so left, will pop in again soon & try the food as heard it’s good
Very friendly traditional pub. Cobs, pork pies and scotch eggs are served alongside real ales. Nice secluded beer garden. Freshly made genuine Italian pizza 🍕 cooked to order......highly recommended
Proper old fashioned pub, great choice of real ales and they do food however we didn't have any food. Beer prices aren't too expensive either. Definitely recommend this place.
Our favourite local. Good selection of beers and ales which are changed on a regular basis. Friendly staff including the new managers!
