V.B. & SONS

I purchased Paneer from the Pinner Road store, the paneer was out of date. Expiry date 15 June 2025. The person in charge Priyanka was utterly rude. Zero customer service. This is not the first time this has happened. Previous experience Paneer was mouldy. I have been a regular shopper at the North Harrow store, lately there have been occasions raising concerns about the products and the quality. Please check the product thoroughly before purchasing.

Huge store and very helpful staff, this place has practically everything in stock. The car park can be a bit of a nightmare although this has no reflection on the store itself and more to the users of the car park.. nice and clean inside and plenty of room with big bulk buying savings.

One of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had. The customer service is absolutely appalling. From the moment you get to the till, you're treated like you're on a production line rather than as a paying customer. Staff scan items at ridiculous speed, throw them across the counter, and expect you to pack everything instantly, making the whole experience stressful and unpleasant. The store is often untidy, unhygienic, and has an unpleasant smell. There seems to be no pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment or providing even basic customer care. As someone of Indian heritage, I find it genuinely embarrassing that this is the impression many people may take away. I've visited countless shops in India where customers are treated with far more courtesy and respect than they are here. Even my young daughter commented that the way customers are treated "isn't nice," which says a lot. The only reason I ever visit this place is because of my parents. If it were my choice, I would never set foot in the store again. I also wouldn't recommend buying products sold under the VB brand. In my experience, the quality has been extremely poor and nowhere near worth the price. Until this business starts treating customers with respect instead of rushing them through the tills, I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Very local and tried to support where I can. But today marked the last day I will come. Tried to send the attached photo to my family to understand which one was needed and immediately got howled at by a staff member that no photos are allowed. Asked for the manager and conveniantly not available. There is a way to speak to customers and ofcourse photos are allowed. half the people are on video call anyway

The ultimate convenience! This place is truly a one-stop shop for Indian groceries. They have everything from fresh curry leaves and regional veggies to a massive selection of dals, spices, and hard-to-find snacks. The store is well-organized, and the staff is always helpful. It saves me from having to visit multiple stores just to get my weekly essentials. Highly recommended!
