Always a good place to eat. Never been disappointed in the service or quality of the food. The Service is exceptionally well run and the staff cant do enough for you. Its nice to see smiley faces when being served which is a norm here. One of our favourite fall back places as it never disappoints. Well done 👏

Went here with my partner to give it a try. Not sure if it’s linked to the Sambuca Windmill off the A19, but the quality wasn’t quite on the same level. The menu was different too, so maybe it’s a separate place. The food itself was really good. The bolognese was cooked to perfection and the waiter happily piled on as much parmesan as we wanted. Chips were nice, though I’d have liked them a touch crisper as they were a bit soft and pale. The pizza was spot-on—fresh dough with plenty of cheese and generous toppings. The only real let-down was the Coke, which tasted a bit watery. I checked with the staff and they assured me it was proper Coke, so not sure what went wrong there. Overall, definitely worth a visit—especially for the price, which was excellent for what we ordered.

The food is superb. Fresh, hot and very more-ish. The only drawback was we both asked for water with our meal. It came in glasses with straws with a couple of ice cubes. It was a warm day, the water was room temperature so the ice cubes were gone in a minute. I was really thirsty so I downed it but next time I'll specifically ask for cold water with ice.

We ordered two starters - fresh mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce and belly pork and black pudding. The mussels were lovely, as was the belly pork. The black pudding was, however, so heavily spiced that it was impossible to actually taste the pudding. My father ordered the sea bass which arrived as two fillets and was beautifully cooked. The white wine and heavy garlic sauce (there is a choice of two sauces) which accompanied it was, however, far too strong for such a delicate fish, so was not used. The pizza was large and tasty. The chunky chips were nice but a little soggy. The desserts offered were predictably generic. The meals were well presented and the service was quick and efficient but not friendly - they were, however, very busy when we arrived. We were impressed with how hot all the food was when it reached us. We personally found the music too loud but we are quite elderly and the mainly young clientele probably enjoy being deafened while eating! The restaurant is excellent value for money and would be even more so if you dined on a night when discounted 'specials' are offered. We will enjoy returning.

This restaurant we've been a couple of times and also in different locations and cannot rate Sambuca enough. The atmosphere is fab when you're inside you don't ever feel uncomfortable, the service is always great and the food is excellent. Can't rate enough.
