College Arms

I absolutely love The College Arms. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, the staff are genuinely lovely and the service is always fantastic The food is incredible. So far we have had the BBQ, with a great selection of homemade sides, pasta, salads and sauces and the Sunday roast was honestly one of the best we've had in a very long time. Everything is fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. I feel the need to eventually try the whole menu 🙂 They've also got a lovely wine selection. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend.

We ate here as a family and my wife is in a wheelchair. I must say the staff were very accommodating there was plenty of room for my wife's chair. The food was outstanding the roast was a gem. My complements to the chef. Would definitely recommend.

Great food and well presented. Lots of choice and the service was quick . The team were very attentive and helpful. This is a lovely family pub and has a great garden and good parking.

Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We came here as a group of 10 adults, a toddler, and a dog. We booked in advance and were given a great table in a semi private area. The food was all delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. There's a large outdoor area with a nice play area for kids. The selection of wines was great and the staff were all really friendly.

A lovely gem of a pub to stumble across, two of us for dinner with a Rhodesian ridgeback made to feel very welcome! Nice to see a menu with something different on it not the usual pub grub, waitress was on her own so expected a wait but her timing for orders and drinks was perfect, not rushed through our meal, we were allowed to enjoy and have a conversation with each other, We had Padron peppers and Calamari to start followed by monkfish and a rack of lamb, clearly quality ingredients are used here. It was delicious and matched the expected quality of the menu. Deserts however could be improved, the pastry on the lemon tart had gone soft and the pistachio brittle wasn’t so brittle, more of a hard crunch. Even with that said we would recommend to anyone in the area and I’m sure we will be back in the future, Thankyou to the team this evening!

Wonderful venue for families, couples to eat, or for a drink. The food was divine, and the service was friendly and attentive. I had my granddaughter with me and they were so lovely with her. The children's menu is amazing, with huge portions. For us, the adults, the menu was varied and delicious. They have a garden seating area for warmer weather.
