Mr Cod

Been coming here for years. The quality has gone down massively. CHICKEN burger was TINY (more like a small strip in a bun! ) and chips were fried in old oil the aftertaste was bitter. The prices have gone up a lot and they do not offer any free sauces with meals,

The cod was cooked but the batter was dry without any seasoning and the chips were not fried in clean oil.

Sadly, like many others have said, the food here is so bad and I’ll no longer be providing my custom. Tbh, the chips have been off for a few years now. They are almost certainly refried in some form or are coated in a light but awful tasting batter. Certainly not the best potato stock for frying either, that’s for sure. The last fish I had was years ago and it wasn’t great. I downgraded to battered sausage and even that doesn’t seem to have been cooked right.

Absolutely terrible! I came here after a while. I heard that it got a 1 star hygeine rating but it was no where in the restaurant so I thought it would be fine! An hour later i got food poisoning from the burger and chips!!

The worst burger experience ever!!

Possibly the worst fish and chips I've ever had. I used to go here years ago, so when I came back to high Wycombe today thought I'd give it a try. The chips were dry and tasted like they were RE-FRIED in old oil, the cod was just as bad.
