Girdle Toll Chippy

I decided to treat myself so I went and bought myself a fish supper. The atmosphere was horrible, what I witnessed was 3 boys play fighting and know one told them to pack it in. When I got home and opened up the box I saw and tasted the fish, it was amazing with light and crispy batter. What spoiled it was the chips. There wasn't a lot which I think was a god sent. They were green and black bits on them. I didn't even try them, I just throw them in the bin.

Usually spot on with their food, the quality, and excellent prices too. That was until tonight, I ordered a portion of scampi for my seven year old daughter. She said almost immediately that it tasted strange and "not normal!" To the fryers credit she refunded me straight away, commenting that "this is what we sell as scampi" the owners, who also own the neighbouring Keystore, are passing off scampi bites as 100% real scampi. This stuff is nasty and the owners are misrepresenting what they sell, and passing it off as the real deal. Buy whatever you like from here, just not the scampi.
