Budgens Castle Acre

Castle acre Budgens is a gem, a veritable national treasure of shop. Sam and Rash are always so kind of thoughtful and welcoming. Anything you need, they will get it for you. The shop is always well stocked lots of options and choices including the full selection of the Cook range of high-quality pre-prepared meals. The shop is a pillar of the local community, can highly recommend to anybody in need of anything including perfect customer service and fresh pint Rash’s on-tap beers!

First time going to castle acre. What a beautiful place. Defo going to be a regular. Used both the shop and chippy! Very reasonably priced, and the guys both in the shop and chippy (family run) were so so lovely, helpful and chatty. Treated us like we always go there!!! I love how in the shop you can get a pint, mr whippy ice cream and slushies!!! I noticed even dog shampoo and cologne!!! Lovely place.. and even lovelier people!!!

Great family run shop. There isn’t much they don’t sell. Great in the summer time to pop in for a cold beer and they also have Mr Whippy ice creams to keep the kids happy: There is a kids park opposite so it’s in a great location too.

A fantastic local convenience store. Rash and his friendly team are always very helpful and accommodating, the selection of produce is superb. The coffee machine does great coffee, topped off with a stamp loyalty card so you can get a freebie! ☕️ Highly recommend.

The first time I have been to Castle Acre Budgens, Post Office & Chip shop. What a brilliant place. Rash and his family were so warm and welcoming. Really well stocked, fish & chips and beer on tap. Perfectly positioned on Peddars Way. Well worth a visit. 11 out of 10

Our lovely local shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We love their new hot counter, slushy machine for the summer and their own bar which comes in handy when you fancy a drink at the park (no judgement on their behalf haha). They have everything you could possibly need and always open to suggestions. Thanks Rash and team for always being a friendly face!

Lovely village shop, so friendly. They also have beers and Prosecco on tap! perfect if you want to come and watch cricket on the green opposite. Also, the fish and chip shop next door is best in the area! hands down.
