We had two curries, a Korean chicken rice bowl, a coke and two alcoholic drinks. It came to £33 for everything which is a bargain. Obviously, it isn't gourmet food, but it is decent pub fayre, and the value for money is fabulous. Food and drink is served quickly (within 10 minutes) and if you use the app it will tell you exactly how long you can expect to it. Being able to order and pay with the app from your table is great too.
Food here is excellent! Much better than the William wygston spoons near by! Atmosphere a bit less lively but can't complain!
Food was delicious, hot and was served in good time. 😊 Absolutely huge ammount of food for affordable price 👌 The place was clean tidy. We loved the bookshelves 😊 Staff are friendly and amazing.
Love all my time here. it is very common for us having friends gathering specally playoffs, ot after club time. Love varieties they have in beers.. Faster service.. Little crowded on evening's try finding spot you need by coming early.
Visited the Wetherspoons in Oadby on a Thursday evening and had a great experience. It had a good level of buzz without being too busy. The weather was nice and with all the big doors open, it gave the place a light and open feel. There were a few large groups in, but everyone kept to their own spaces and the atmosphere stayed relaxed and friendly. Drinks were cheap, with loads of offers available, and service was fast. There's a surprisingly good selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits for such a casual spot. Definitely recommend if you're after something quick, local, and affordable. It’s a great spot to meet friends for casual drinks in a laid-back setting.
Some staff were discriminative against people who have learning disabilities, wouldn’t know his name as he flat out refused. Staff don’t read the tickets for food properly, which they admitted to, luckily there was no severe allergy, but we wasn’t even asked about them anyway!! I contacted customer support and they essentially blamed my family for our experience because some of us ordered via the app, but the bar service was so bad thats why we used the app for the rest of the party. I am yet to hear back from them. It’s been a few weeks. Avoid.
A true community pub. Friends of all age meet here. Tables outside in good weather. Usual Wetherspoon's value and menu. Large building with a few photos and details of local history on display.
