This is my favourite Turkish in London. I've been coming here for the last 10 years and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and the meat is beautifully cooked and high quality. The service is fast and friendly. A few recommendations: 1. Lacmacun - great value light snack if you're in a rush. 2. Iskender - Deliciously rich lamb kebab with tomato sauce and yoghurt. A real treat. 3. Chicken Shish - Slightly healthier option. Really good quality chicken. Served with bread and salad.
We had ciger and iskandar kebab which was super nice and delicious
Everything here is really good. Definitely one of the best in the area. Meat is very high quality, generous portions, friendly staff, very homey atmosphere. A lot of variety on the menu, and a lot of healthy choices. They also have really good soups, which is quite rare since places like these don’t really try hard with the soups. The lentil is my go-to and the best I’ve tried in London so far. Highly recommend.
Very unwelcoming experience. From the moment we walked in one male staff member stared at my sister in a judgmental and uncomfortable way which she later confirmed had made her feel uneasy from the start after the continued bad behavior. The food was disappointing. There was meat but barely any rice and the portion was small overall. We ordered chips and waited around 40 minutes. After reminding staff, we were told they had been given to someone else and then asked if we still wanted them. There was no apology and no concern for the wait. To make matters worse, we were charged around £50 for just one small plate of food. Prices were not clearly displayed in store, and the online menu shows much lower prices under £30. The portions, service, and attitude did not match the cost at all. Overall the staff were rude, hostile, and inattentive. Extremely poor value for money. I would not recommend this place.
I recently visited 01 Adana Restaurant for the first time after enjoying many takeaways, and I was not disappointed! The food was excellent, with the Lahmacun and Böreği standing out as exceptional. The quality and flavors were just as good, if not better, than what I’ve had from takeaway. The restaurant also offers great value for money, making it a fantastic option for those who appreciate authentic Turkish cuisine. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the ambiance—perhaps updating the decor and dimming the lighting could enhance the dining experience. Overall, a solid spot for delicious food at a good price. Looking forward to my next visit!
Such fresh and tasty turkish food with great service from the nice team. Portion sizes were really big as well so definitely a good value meal. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area. The mixed grill was especially good!
Ordered a lamb shish wrap, but wrap was mostly thick bread with very little meat. Also, the wrap was tasteless, you couldn’t even tell if it was lamb or chicken, as the colour of the meat was white. Staff were rude and aggressive when I asked to confirm my order. Very disappointing. I love Turkish food and have had much better elsewhere. Would not recommend this place
