I ordered a chicken doner with delivery, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing: 1. Delivery took about 40–45 minutes, even though the restaurant is located nearby. 2. The doner was prepared completely wrong – the flatbread was empty, the chicken was just thrown on top, with no sauce, no cutting, no proper filling. 3. The chicken was undercooked, chewy and unsafe to eat. 4. The fries were overcooked, dry and unpleasant. 5. The garlic sauce was completely watery, like water, impossible to use as a dip. In the end, I had to throw most of the order away. Very disappointed with the quality of both food and service. Would not recommend.

This place has changed… in a good way! I’ve lived on Roman Road for 4 years and walked past this place daily but never fancied it. The new refurb made me want to try it and I wasn’t disappointed. The large kebab is easily enough for two with the portion size. The chicken was lovely, not just a boring lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad like some takeaways, tons of meat, two pitas and house sauces. And SO reasonable. It was a phone order and they were great on the phone but when I went to pick it up they were even better. Makes a BIG difference. And they were fine with bringing my dog in to collect. Cracking service and food.

I’ve come to here twice previously and I found the food was good and a value for money. They have a range of meals to choose from. I went for the half chicken grill with rice. The rice is tasty and the grill has a perfect charcoal taste. They had garlic and chilli sauce which elevates the taste! The service is somewhat friendly….coming to this in a bit. Overall decent place although they copied Lebanese grill from south London and genuinely this place doesn’t come close however still good! Here is my issue, some time back, I ordered my meal via telephone. Ensuring I gave them enough time to make the food and I also waited in the car! I paid, went home, had half of my meal (I was very hungry) but realised the chicken was not cooked at all! It was simply raw. I was extremely upset as I recall asking them twice if it’s definitely ready after 20 minutes as my meal was all bagged up ready to takeaway. I was left unwell and sick the following day and made an emergency appointment to my local doctor. When I contacted them regarding this, they apologies and said I can get my money back when I come. When I went back in the shop, they didn’t offer the money but rather offered a free meal. I didn’t want a free meal and especially getting food poisoning. I wish they stuck to their words. A lengthy review but I hope places like this take health and safety more seriously. I got lucky but someone else won’t. I escalated this to the local council and have been flagged. This place had potential but sadly lost mine and a few others trust with this experience. 3/10
