Lucky Skewers Chinese Restaurant

Came for a birthday meal, left satisfied and happy with everything involved. Was a quiet Sunday so not too busy and the food was phenomenal. A warning that the sliced beef in chilli oil is a massive portion so that and a portion of rice would have sufficed 😂 The skewers were also delicious - particularly the lamb and the scallops, highly recommend this small gem of a restaurant.

I wanted to visit this place for a while, I finally did and it was a great experience and I understand the high rating now. I was welcomed by a lovely staff member who smiled genuinely right away and seated me by the table. I was asked if I need any help as she saw me looking at the menu for a while. I don’t eat Chinese food often so I had to read the card for a bit longer. I went for the prawn dim sum and fried vegetable rice. It was delicious. What really blown me away was the plum tea I have never had before in my life. I am so happy I ordered the pot not the glass. It was amazingly delicious and I highly recommend if you never tried. I will be back very soon to try more things. The decoration of the place is another level. Every corner of the restaurant is used and decorated. Nice music in the background. You can also purchase some grocery items. Place is very clean. Before leaving I was given the opportunity to choose the card with discount for my next visit. I have chosen 2£ off for the next time. I felt very looked after by everyone. The owners and the girl named Phyu were amazing. Thanks !!!

Lovely place and delicious noodles, fried rice and skewers! The spicy beef with ramen noodle soup is especially tasty. 😋

Pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options (with a separate vegetarian menu or a gluten free menu on request). We tried the salt and pepper tofu, vegetarian lettuce wraps, aubergine skewer, king oyster mushroom skewers, and the dandan noodles. Everything was freshly prepared, absolutely amazing and with great service. Highly recommend — the best Chinese food we’ve had in a while!

Stopped by for food before heading to theatre so glad we did we both agreed tastiest chinese weve had. Having read the reviews next time in London will have to try the skewers as well after reading the reviews. Love small family restaurants like this and the food definitely didn’t disappoint

It was our first time here last night and i was very curious about the high rating. It is indeed deserved: amazing food, very friendly atmosphere and a cozy interior. We especially liked beef fried ho fan and prawn steamed dumplings. But there's so much more to try! When leaving we were also offered to draw a stick with the bonus for the next visit! How cute!!! Will certainly come back!
