An absolute gem to find. Authentic taste, staff and atmosphere rolled into one. Our table enjoyed an array of delicious starters and I can highly recommend the truffle Gnocchi as a unique and flavourful dish. The homemade lemonade was a superb option, definitely the best I have tried. 10/10 will be recommending to family and friends.

Hosted a hen do party in the private space and garden area, which we were allowed to decorate. Staff and owner are really nice and provided a great service. Good selection of starters and pizza. Very tasty.

Disappointing Experience – Lacks Authentic Italian Quality I recently visited this "Italian" restaurant and left quite disappointed. As an Italian, I felt the food lacked authenticity. You can both taste and see that it’s not prepared with true Italian influence, and the presentation was very poor. Maria, the young girl who served us, was very friendly and helpful, which was a positive note. However, the man who appeared to be the manager was not welcoming or attentive, which is disappointing when you are paying for service.The overall service needs improvement, especially as the drinks took a long time to arrive. The cappuccino was also very disappointing. I’m not sure what was put on top, but it sank straight into the foam, which is not what you would expect from a proper cappuccino. The atmosphere, food, and service all felt more English than Italian. I would suggest redefining the restaurant’s identity to better reflect what it actually offers.

We had a fantastic evening here and the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. We can very much recommend this lovely establishment (which is why we keep coming back). We can highly recommend the Ragu and the Lasagna. Truly authentic and tasty.

Sanzio is a place to go if you want to feel welcome, enjoy an amazing atmosphere, and eat delicious food. I cannot recommend the Croquettes with Truffle sauce enough, alongside all the other wonderful dishes there is to indulge in. You cannot go wrong with the zucchini fries, arancini, Pasta de Fungi e Pollo, and look out for the specials aswell. We tried the gnocchi on Specials and it was superb. You’ll find yourselves wanted to come back again and again just to try everything there is to offer on the menu. Staff are incredibly friendly and dietary requirements are happily catered for.

Suuuch lovely food! Authentic Italian pizzas and pastas. I went for the classic Margherita and it did not miss, so tasty! The appetizers are also incredible, highly recommend the zucchini and the polenta chips. The staff were also so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming again 🙂

Ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara for £16 via Deliveroo and was very disappointed. The portion size was tiny, delivered in a small plastic container that was barely filled. Carbonara is a simple dish made with basic ingredients like egg, cheese, and bacon, so there is no excuse for such a small serving at this price. £16 for this quantity feels dishonest and poor value for money. I would not recommend ordering from here and will not be returning.
