Lovely chips, good sized portions. Spam Fritter was also very nice. Lady behind counter that greeted me was bright and bubbly, friendly and polite. Always chatting away and made to feel welcome. Fantastic little place, glad I came across it and will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area

If you are looking for the quality of taste, service, and overall experience, this is the best Fish and Chips in town. They serve food that appears to be always cooked in new oil + you get scraps which are rare nowadays.

After a busy day down the road at the theme park, we decided chips was an easy option. The Village Rise is located in a small precinct of shops, and there is parking just outside. After being served quickly we had a short wait and then ready to go. Before we left we was offered scraps, never been offered them before anywhere else, kids loved them!

Food took ages to prepare and when I got home it wasn't worth the wait. The chips were hard, dry and crispy. The batter was ok on the fish but not good enough
