Al Forno

A very welcoming place. I went with my family at my son's invitation to celebrate my birthday. Everything was delicious and well-presented, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable. Thank you, Al Forno, everything was perfect.

Due to train cancellations, my birthday plans had to change and so we stumbled across this restaurant as a happy accident. They happily squeezed us in, and the place felt very welcoming overall. The food was absolutely scrumptious. For me, the cheesecake with a highlight. It was so thick and creamy with a delicious berry compote that wasn’t too sharp or too sweet. The service here was absolutely impeccable, really really attentive. I don’t like a big fuss made, so they weren’t aware it was my birthday, but the experience still felt special because of their lovely service. All-in-all, I think we’ve found a new go-to spot!

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Always delicious food and very friendly service. On the pricier side but always good quality! Recommend the Fiorentina!

We had a family meal here tonight and like always it's been very enjoyable. We had prawn cocktails for starters, followed by 3 different mains and 2 different deserts. All was very delicious and great value for money

Al Forno is a pizzeria entirely run by Italians, both the owners and the chef. Honestly, it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the UK. All the ingredients are top quality and are sourced directly from Italy. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The restaurant opened 25 years ago, and since then, its loyal customers keep coming back to enjoy the delights of this Pizzeria/Restaurant. The atmosphere is almost like being with family, and the owners continue to work with the same passion as on the very first day. I absolutely recommend this place. I say this as an Italian.
