Didnt have food so cant comment on it just yet. But this place is a vibe! If you are around town and looking for a beer and a dance. Walk straight into this pub. Always the best laughs. Thank you for the live music and great evening out.

This has to be our favourite dog friendly watering hole in Newquay. Large, warm welcoming premises overlooking Newquay Harbour & distant beaches. Plenty of comfortable seating & tables with wonderful views if your lucky to get a window seat. Log burner gives warmth especially on a cold, blustery day like we had. Great selection of Ales, ciders and lagers served by friendly staff. The food being brought out looked very nice, and I must say the smell it gave off made our tummies rumble. The sound of customers laughing & talking makes this a great social place to be.

Nice pub, very busy and sometimes it's hard to find a table. The staff are really good, they do a really good pint if Guinness. Bit disappointed I got charged twice for the same drink, when their card machine was not responding, so I paid on another machine. Went in the next day to prove I had been charged twice, I was told they couldn't refund the money because it was the day before, but they would put a note at the bar to say I could have it in the way of a drink, went in last night, no note, and got told it would get put back into my account and it could take 7 to 10 days, I said that I wouldn't be here in that time length, then I was told to contact my bank for a refund and then to call or email the pub and they would refund it, really! Never heard that one before, if they can't accept proof when you are there, they won't rember 10 days later. OK so £5.80 is not a lot of money. But then I didn't expect to get charged twice.

Back and better than ever! So happy with the new management of the Red! The staff are so friendly and happy. The food is lovely. The vibes are immaculate.

Stopped in this pub for dinner omg I wished we didn't bother what a waste of money , there was 6 of us , ordered mixed grill then to be told they had no chicken , and onion rings were missing wen asked about them they said they ran out so gave extra chips which they should of informed us 1st before ordering , my daughter ordered lamb shank wen it came out the mash was missing which was corrected wen told , then they said they didn't have any mayo , my brother and his son ordered his meal before all of us it never came out everyone else had eaten there meals so he got feed up of waiting went to ask what was happening with them n they was sat on bar which ment they were there about 40 mins so he wasn't happy he asked for his money back . . .the staff ain't got a clue what they are doing Avoid this place and find a better pub to spend your money
