Nice place, but food not great today, i had 6pc breakfast, they forgot my scrambled eggs so they took my plate and returned it with odd slightly wet scrambled eggs that were buttery though, I think roasted beans, mushrooms burnt-ish taste, rest of plate ok but not amazing. The other order was toast and jam, toast came but no jam available. Cuppa was decent and cakes looked good but we didn't try one. Probably not returning here.
I quite often visit Skirlies Café as they occasionally have things happening in the evening like the Renfrewshire Board Gamers etc. The food is excellent especially the selection of Cakes which are ideal with a tea or coffee.
I've been here for a few murder mystery dinners. Really good steak pie, mince and tatties and, my favourite, peppercorn chicken! Nice selection of cakes and other sweets. Friendly staff, very clean and quick service.
Amazing place! A big group of us went for afternoon tea yesterday. Such fantastic value for money at only £14 per person. Great choice of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and we even got to pick 2 cakes of our choice from the cake cabinet! Excellent, friendly service too. Thanks again.
Lovely Festive Afternoon Tea for some of the Renfrewshire Ladies Group today. Angela and her team accommodated 16 of us serving sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, tablet, mince pies plus 2 cakes from the full display cabinet. There was an option to have a festive meal - soup to start, turkey dinner to follow. It looked delicious and the ladies made short work of it. If you get a chance I would suggest a visit.
Great value for money & delicious 😋
Popped in out of the rain on a miserable morning. Very quiet but deserves to be busy. Clean and well maintained. Good choice of homemade cakes - everything looked delicious. Opted for the lemon and blueberry cake eventually, and it didn’t disappoint.
