Visited to get some takeaway items for lunch and a few delicious sweet treats. Very busy on the Saturday morning when we went to the shop. There is a small seating area outside and inside of the shop, though you will find it to be regularly occupied so just be aware of this. A brilliant artisan bakery specialising in Italian breads and sweets treats alongside Italian inspired sandwiches, pizza slices, cannolli's, biscuits, croissants, hot and cold drinks are available too. A little wait to be served but not too long. The staff are very helpful and friendly which is good to see. A popular bakery and well worth a visit any day of the week. Apart from when it is closes obviously. Parking is available in George Street or the surrounding streets but always a busy place to park. The shop has good access for those with mobility issues too. So pop in for a look and a sweet treat or two!
A little taste of Italy in the heart of Scotland. An absolute heaven for sourdough lovers, with amazing breakfasts, irresistible Italian pastries, and the warmest welcome from Francesca. Definitely not to be missed if you’re in Perth.
Found this little gem by accident today and very glad we did. A warm welcome when entering made such a difference. Had some toasted sandwiches and coffee and everything was superb. Really enjoyed the coffee out of the weird (but ergonomically practical ) cups. Apple pie with ice cream was delightful. Best of all was the service. IF, either of the two ladies serving was having a bad day ,we knew nothing about. Really enjoyable experience. This will be our first stop for a bite to eat from now on. Also the amount takeaway they did whilst we were there says how good it really is.
How lovely to find an authentic Italian, Bakery & Coffee shop. . The Sourdough Ham & Cheese toastie was excellent, and the Chocolate Cake was melt in the mouth delicious. The coffee was the best., and the staff were really friendly. A wonderful find, just like being back in Italy.
Coffee and focaccia sandwich cheese of the day and mortdella. Bellissmo!!! Staff are ever so helpful and warm even at 8.30am
