Excellent authentic Italian baking. Love their bread. Highly recommend their panettone ahead of Christmas - it's excellent t but order ahead. Whenever I'm near George Street I go in here. My only constructive comment would be opening hours... its not open as much as I'd like (hence the 3 stars for service - the actual service in practice is very good). Recommend the breads, foccacia sandwiches, coffee, Christmas panettone, sweet treats. They have a few small tables inside to seat just a few and then the same outside in good weather, but id say takeaway is my main aim here. Parking can be hit or miss on George Street mind although free for 15 minutes

Not good!!!! Small loaf and 4 rolls weighed and cost a TON. Tasteless and tough. Birds had a very costly feast. I went to the shop in Whitefriars, cant remember which date but it was my third visit. First two shop was closed but I fear the goods were left over from that period. Bought small white loaf and 4 white rolls. Certainly not fresh. Had to get another the next day elsewhere. Small sliced fresh white crusty for 50p. It was lovely. Very disappointing !!!

Lovely food, great atmosphere. It's not a first visit to this lovely, Italian bakery. I love their sourdough bread but amazing rolls and sweet treats are also available. Today we got some amazing, tasty sandwiches, just superb and the Frankfurt Twist, sold only on Saturdays, their healthier option of a hot dog. Thank you. I will be back again...

I had been trying to find a genuine edible sourdough for some time when I came across Casello & Polegato' s stall at the Farmers Market in Perth. Well I tried the sourdough and I have to say it was delicious especially warmed or toasted. Can't wait to get another one or maybe 2 cos I don't want to run out and it freezes beautifully.
