I come here often and always enjoy their food! I usually highly recommend them and bring in my friends to try it out when they haven’t already. Today however I received one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had 😞. I had mentioned it and they explained it was exactly the same as usual however this pizza was rubbery and had very little taste! I have sympathy as it was during an event but bad food from what is usually an amazing experience is extremely disappointing. I was offered a refund or another pizza made and figured it could’ve been a one off so asked for a remake however the remake wasn’t any better and then felt too bad to complain again so left with hardly touched pizza in boxes it’s a shame they will now be wasted 😢 ! (I have attached a photo of what their pizza typically looks like - half pepperoni half margarita) It’s safe to say I am very disappointed after spending around £40 total to be so disappointed. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was very good just rather disappointing about the pizza being so bad :(!! Aside from this I do highly recommend I just hope this doesn’t happen again as the pizza shown below is their usual amazing pizza and today I had a rubbery tasteless mess!

We popped in for an early lunch, have always seen it but never visited. We went for some subs and we all said how delicious it is. You also get a little "happy meal" with a little colouring book and crayons my son enjoyed. Fresh ingredients, clean restaurant and friendly staff. When we are around we will definitely visit again

Mamma Mia is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. I am from London where great European food is easy to find, and this still stands out. I had a brilliant chicken Caesar salad and my son had the kids meal, both spot on. I went back the very next day for the chicken carbonara. The pasta is freshly made, the sauces taste fresh, and the ingredients taste authentic. It is a relief to enjoy REAL food in Peterborough… The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. The lady who served us was lovely and made the experience even better. If you are reading this, it is a no brainer. Go, order with confidence, and enjoy. If I could give it a million stars, I would. We will absolutely be back on our next visit to Peterborough.

Lovely food, especially the pizza. Nothing left on the plate, had to squeeze it all in, excellent portion sizes for both pasta and pizza we had ordered. Calm and clean atmosphere, staff floating around regularly keeping the restaurant in order. Owner paid us a little visit too to check on how the food was, had a little time for light conversation too, very friendly. Most definitely going back there.
