First visit with husband, brother and partner. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the service was great - friendly and accommodating. Only knocked off one star re atmosphere because I found the air con? to be really cold . It was post the heatwave. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars all round.
Ordered a sandwich as no hot food today. What a sorry sight when it arrived. Cheap white bread. With tuna. Nothing else on the plate. No salad, on the menu said it came with salad. Terrible wont be returning...
not a pleasant experience. Pizza looked ok and had a crisp base but that's as far as the good points go. lack of flavour. Tomato sauce tasteless or forgotten. Cheese and other toppings frankly totally forgettable. Should have turned my oven and bought one from the coop and heated it up. From experience those are at least tasty . thoroughly disappointed ☹️
I visited Puccini's last week and had an enjoyable experience. My pizza was delicious and Eve, our waitress was excellent. Eve was very busy but coped remarkably and looked after us so well. Eve was very friendly and dealt with our requests very efficiently. Well done Eve, keep up the fantastic work. You're a credit to Puccini's!
Good service and excellent food and wine. There were four of us in our party and we all think that this is the best Italian restaurant in Penwortham. Well worth a visit. John
