Only 1 star as couldn’t leave zero, this company were paid a large exorbitant fee weeks in advance to pick up from a wedding venue. They did not turn up when arranged, you can image the problems that caused!!! When I Finally got through to the guy all I got was well the other customers must have taken longer, absolutely shocking customer service. They finally sent a mini bus almost 45 minutes late, leaving my party outside a wedding venue that was closed. Thanks a bunch Red Car Cars!!!!!
I booked a taxi from saltburn then there was a link it wanted my payment from my phone I cancelled it saying I don’t use phone for payment anyhow it would of costed me £28 where I wanted to go ! Then taxi number 2 they wanted to know the postcode I hadn’t a clue after all I’m not a postman they could of looked on their computer or Tom Tom I’m a calm person mainly all the time but some things test your patience. The third and final go was Red-Car taxi then another link came I pressed the link thinking it’s a way to pay again but I was wrong it was a map where the car was. I I was pleased to pay £22 instead of paying by phone and paying a ridicules price of £28. I just thought if the vulnerable or a old person with a basic phone wanted a taxi they wouldn’t get one from the two mentioned but the third Red -Car taxis would be a breeze and that’s what we want ( simplified )
Used them for first time yesterday, had an extremely friendly driver Gareth who arrived very quickly, he was so helpful with me taking items to storage and helped me with my things. Definitely will use again.
I had to wait 30 minutes for a driver to pick me up at Guisborough. The driver was quite arrogant and because I had someone with me who wanted to share was arrogant to them too. When I was taken to my address the driver got his fare yet demanded some extra money for the other passenger. I will not be using this taxi company again!
Got to give credit where credits due Azad our driver has to be one of the kindness most professional drivers I’ve had to share a car with in years, Thankyou Azad
