Sellfish

We ordered take away, it came lovely an hot. Fish an chips was lovely, sausage in batter was done well and saveloy was nice. We did request lots of salt an vinegar as staying in a hotel, we had no condiments we could add and it didn't taste like they had put any but this didn't change how yummy it was. We also got a little note appreciating our order which was a lovely touch.

On a day out & came across this Fish & chip shop by chance & decided to give it a try, we were not disappointed. Plenty of menu choice for all, even for a couple of old girls, & at very reasonable prices. Cooked fresh, polite & friendly service & the food was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again when next in the area.

First of all, the men serving and preparing the food were charming and informative upon their menu and also give recommendations I ordered a medium Cod & Chips with a drink and pot of tartare sauce - came to £12 which I think is very reasonable. The portion size was worth every penny but most importantly, the quality of the fish and chips was superior to anything I have tasted in Southend for a LONG TIME. The batter on the fish was crispy, skin-on and flaky, perfectly cooked Cod I WOULD recommend this to anybody looking for reasonable prices and outstanding quality!

Always friendly, fish cooked fresh and generous portion size. Received a complimentary tubs of their homemade tartar sauce this evening and it did not disappoint.

The most fresh fish that money can buy. The service from the owners are so friendly and welcoming. This Fish and Chips is the most luxurious you can find in Southend.

Very nice flish and chips. The portions are large and the fish was perfect. I could not eat all my chips.

Reasonably priced, very large potions, friendly staff and not very long wait times. One of the members of staff gave me a free mushy peas with my order. Would recommend if you are looking for fish and chips in Southend.
