Great place for fresh fish and cold ST andrews brand IPA. Staff was very kind and attentive. Try the breaded and battered fish and chips. Loved them both. Mushy peas were right up there. The home made brownie at the end was amazing.

Perfect place for a perfect seafood lunch or dinner, very fresh, variety of food items that make you wonder what to choose. Service is great and people are very kind and friendly. Highly recommended specially for the muscles.

As a tourist, I stopped in for a late lunch after reading local recommendations for best local seafood options. I had the mussels appetizer followed by the full size haddock with chips. The food was absolutely delicious, particularly the mussels. The service was attentive, pleasant and not rushed. The fish was a good size, battered nicely, and cooked perfectly. I didn't ask for any names, but a pleasant girl who was the acting manager/hostess personally stopped by at meals end to ensure i enjoyed it. The St. Andrews lager on tap (as a local brewery option) was another added bonus. This was a great experience.

Price is reasonable. Fish are crispy and tasty. But the mussels are not big, and the sauce is a little thick. Suggest you book the table in advance.

Extremely overpriced and disappointing. £22.95 for just six prawns, mostly chips and a small salad. The fish also tasted noticeably unfresh; the heavy seasoning seemed to be masking the poor quality. Service was equally bad. We politely asked to place one chair between our two-person table and the next table for our camera, but were refused in an unnecessarily rude and hostile manner. With nowhere safe to put it, we had to eat the entire meal with the camera awkwardly against us. However, the white couple sat next to us could put their bags on the chair. Hard to say if we were treated differently because we are Asian. If you know, you know 🙂 Poor food quality, ridiculous value for money, and genuinely unpleasant service.
