Monterey Jack's Stirling

Visited on 11 Apr for lunch with friends. The burger for its price was goated, it came with large portion of fries and salads. The staffs were very attentive and friendly to our needs. They even had free dessert with 2 mains ordered for spring deals.

Great vibes, cold beer, and delicious burgers. Everything you want in a pub. The staff were super attentive too. Highly recommend

Great food and super fast service. So much to choose from - would recommend the Monty burger! Student discount is available and overall very reasonably priced.

Decent food, and good vegan and gluten free options too. However the service was not great. Very understaffed. We stood at the host stand for several minutes, with none of the wait staff even acknowledging us. A simple, "hello, we will be right with you" goes a long way. But we were completely ignored. We had a dog, since the website said it was dog friendly. The male server seated us at a nice quiet table in an empty room, which was perfect. No drinks order taken, just ignored again for a while. The female server then came to us and said we shouldn’t have been seated there, and dogs are only allowed in the other room. Even though our dog was very calm and just lying down, and no one was even in the room with us. So we then had to sit next to the dirty pool table area, with very loud little boys playing pool and a bin man coming by taking out the rubbish while we ate. We were given cheap little paper cups for our water. Not a great atmosphere, and not sure why we couldn’t sit in the other room when our dog was well behaved and just lying down. The female server was very blunt, and not super friendly. Seemed like she was in a bad mood for some reason even though we were perfectly friendly the whole time.

We had food and drinks here for my friends hen do. Grant was serving us the service was so good, very friendly and get asking us if we needed anything really good value for money and James was cooking shout out James 🤣 would highly recommend
