I had a great brunch last Friday. Lots to choose from with tasty & creative monthly specials. Loved the Welsh theme they had in March, championing the fantastic produce we have here in Wales! I went for the Mount Snowdon special and a lovely blackberry iced matcha. The front of house staff were also great and Jo & Brit were super friendly & attentive. Da iawn team Haystack 💫💜🙏🏽
Fantastic brunch at Haystack! The food was delicious and the lil farmers breakfast was perfect for my lil one. Staff were also really lovely and made sure we had an enjoyable visit. Will definitely be back again!
This was our second visit, after the first one a few months ago wasn't great. We decided that we would give it another go, and so glad we did. We were seated quite quickly after grabbing a coffee and waiting on the sofas. Coffee was much hotter this time but disappointed that they charge extra for Decaf. And Over £9 for 2 coffees. Food this time was absolutely delicious although a little pricey, but happy to pay if it's good. Unfortunately again we weren't asked if everything was to our liking, and that to me is not good restaurant etiquette. On the way out we got to chat with Claire who was front of house/manager I'm assuming for that day and we explained about our previous visit. She was interested in our comments. We will definitely visit again as we need to try the pancakes, they look absolutely amazing. Fingers crossed for our next visit.
Up there as one of the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had! Arrived around 11:15 to a fully packed cafe. Server asked us to scan the QR code at the entrance and that we could get a text when our table was ready. Said would roughly be 20 mins. So we sat back in the car and no more than 5 minutes later we had notification 😊 Incredible service from start to finish! We can't wait to visit again!
Popped in for a visit after finding them online yesterday. Food did not disappoint, all looked and tasted fantastic. Will definitely go back and try some of the other offerings as everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing
Looking for a breakfast place in Swansea, found this and it was so much fun! Great breakfast and vibes. It was quite busy but wait was only a few minutes, would definitely recommend!
Wanted to go there for a really long time as everyone was saying that this place is a "must go ". I decided to leave a review based on a few factors: Location The place is not the best located and the parking is limited but ,I have to admit ,it has nearby parking which is not that bad ,so overall location,I would say it is okay. 4/5 Atmosphere/ Space The place seems very small and a bit crowded in my opinion as it wants to feel cozy but ,for myself ,the tables are a bit too close .3/5 Food As you can see in the pictures, the food looked amazing but tasteless. What really disappointed me was that the bacon and sausages were pre-cooked which it is not something that I was expecting to receive, The ingredients don’t feel premium and what put me off ,was the fact that the food was pre-cooked (A big no FOR MYSELF ) The taste was not great either . 2/5 Pricing The pricing (which didn’t bothered me at the beginning )was too high for what it offered. Almost £6 for a coffee (with oat milk and vanilla flavour) I think it is a bit overpriced . The breakfast in the skillet was not worth the money either . I don’t mind paying for quality, but in here wasn’t the case. 2/5 Staff/service Staff seemed friendly but seems like in a constant rush and trying to put pressure on customers to eat their food and go.3/5 Overall experience I wanted to try it as everyone was hyped about this place but it seems that if you have a good marketing team and advertise a lot , it won’t matter what you serve to people . My opinion way overrated and not worth it . I think there are more local coffee shops/restaurant out there that don’t have a strong marketing (social media posts ) that are far better than here Just my honest opinion based on my personal experience.
