Contento

We were served by Josh and Jess, they had impeccable timing and explained the menu expertly. The food was delicious and obviously freshly made. The quality was excellent and cooked exactly as requested. We finished off with a dessert which was also of extremely good quality. The restaurant is clean and fresh looking. There was a calm, pleasant atmosphere with enjoyably background music. Highly recommended, we will return in the future.

Gorgeous food served by the lovely Josh (who smells devine). The food is superb - tapas type plates but generous portions. Good prices and opens at noon. The Lunches are also good. We've been several times and the food has never let us down! Win win - we will be back again as we visit

With a party of about 30 upstairs on Boxing Day the staff were excellent, the food was gorgeous and they couldn't have been more attentive. The food was all freshly prepared so a few minor delays with service but I much prefer a beautiful meal over a reheated or badly presented one. A thoroughly enjoyable night. Thank you to everyone who looked after us for your very busy dinner service, celebrating my Aunty's birthday!

What could be better than an Italian restaurant on valentines day. Food good and prepared to order. Service a bit scattered but pleasant staff. All young. Pizzas very good and drinks not a rip off. Will return. Great ambiance..pizza's superb (design your own) . Staff professional but could be a bit more attentive.

We were greeted by a no smile 'where d' you wanna sit? '... Starter arrived for one, it was practically thrown down, beer was slammed down on table. Wine was awful cheap and nothing like Merlot... Lamb shank £25.. Smelled delicious and that's were it stopped. The lamb was stringy, sinue and inedible... Sent back. Vegetables in pasta were virtually raw.. Horrible! I was asked "What was wrong, noone else has ever complained'! Maybe they were not assertive. Very disappointed, we've been once before and it was very nice. Will not go again. Shame... But it's a 70th Birthday we will never forget!

Enjoyed a beautiful, freshly cooked and flavoursome meal here for my birthday! A special occasion with my family was made even better with our visit to Contento! ☺️ amazing food, plenty of choice, brilliant service and a perfect atmosphere! This is my third visit and I’ll definitely be returning!

Went for lunch and had three tapas style Italian dishes, really good. The waiter, Reece, was welcoming and friendly. An enjoyable lunch.
