Elachi Indian restaurant in Liscard Wallasey

Elachi is a lovely Indian restaurant in Liscard. The food was excellent, the interior was very nice, and the two waiters were kind, attentive, and provided great service. The only small downside for me was the strong food smell inside. I do have a very sensitive nose, so this may not bother everyone, but perhaps better ventilation could help. My main reason for not giving full stars is the outside appearance. From the street, the restaurant doesn’t look as inviting as it deserves to. It’s definitely a case of "don’t judge a book by its cover," because once you go inside, enjoy the food, and experience the excellent service, you realise how good the place really is. With a little improvement to the exterior, this restaurant could make a much better first impression. I would definitely recommend the food and service.

I visited this restaurant today and I’m honestly blown away! From the moment I walked in, everything was just perfect. The décor is absolutely beautiful — warm, inviting, and full of character, which really adds to the whole experience. The food… wow. Every single dish was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the cooking. On top of that, the portion sizes were very generous, which made it even better value. A special thank you to the waiter, Tambir, who provided excellent service throughout. His attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism really stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place more — amazing food, fantastic service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back! and I felt so happy just being there!

Drop-dead amazing food and genuinely lovely service. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I had the papadoms with the chutney tray, chicken garlic tikka balti, coconut and tropical fruit rice, and garlic naan. Every single thing was delicious. Fantastic flavours, generous portions, and beautiful presentation. The coconut and tropical fruit rice was especially wonderful. One of the best Indian meals I've ever had. I left very happy (and very full). Would recommend!

We come last night for my daughters 13th birthday. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was relaxing. And the staff are very friendly. It was a lovely night. Thank you Elachi 😊

We went for a meal the service was amazing. As was the food we went for a banquet my starter was huuuge and the amount of meat was amazing also the quality of the meat! I enjoyed the tamarind sauce and they kindly gave me another 1 ! I have been a few times with him also with friends. What i thought was lovely was the lady Nas remembered us and the chef came out to say hello. We are already planning to go back next week! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Went with a group to celebrate a friend's Birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful The food that I tried to was very tasty and well cooked . The portions were large. It's a being your own wine place which made the bill very reasonable. The staff looked after us very well. I definitely want to eat here again very soon. Yummy

We had an amazing meal on Sunday night at Elachi, as ever we ordered too much and needed to take away the rest. My assertions that I would make a hearty curry & beans on toast were met with disbelief but here is the delicious proof 😋. Thanks Elachi, we will be back!
