Rumbles | glenvale Wellingborough

Recently I visited Rumbles in Glenvale, Wellingborough, and I was extremely impressed with both the food and the service. Everything was fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. The fish and chips were delicious — crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, and served in generous portions. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. They served us quickly and made sure everything was just right. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, and the place is well-organized. It’s clear that they care about both their food and their customers. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive. It’s great value for money, especially for families. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Rumbles to anyone looking for tasty, fresh food and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back again! Wow wow wow. Absolutely stunning fish and chips and pukka pie. We come down from Glasgow to see family and always need to have a chicken and mushroom pukka pie as in Glasgow they deep fry steak ones only, not a fan on fried pies 😂 however only here today, a Sunday, and all our normal chippies are closed, so was pleased to find this one open and bonus less than 2 mins drive away. Was great quality and hot, we will definitely be back on our next visit. Thank you

The chicken was dry, hard and chewy. I couldn't eat it. It clearly wasn't cooked fresh, as it was served within 5 minutes, so it must have been sitting out and drying for quite a while. The lamb doner was the same. The gas wasn't even lit beneath the meat, so it must have been left over from earlier in the day. Such a shame that I need to drive off the estate to get a decent chippy. I'll have to go back to Agatha's at Redwell, where the food is much nicer and cooked fresh, although they don't do kebabs.

I recently ordered from Rumbles in Glenvale and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy golden batter, and the chips were soft on the inside and nicely done on the outside. The portion sizes were generous and definitely worth the price. What really stood out to me was the quality and consistency. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Everything was prepared carefully and tasted great. The staff were professional, friendly, and very efficient. The service was quick, and the whole process was smooth and easy. The shop itself looks clean and well-maintained, which is always important. It’s a great place for takeaway or a quick meal with family. I highly recommend Rumbles to anyone in the area. One of the best places for fish and chips in Wellingborough. I will definitely be ordering again!

Really good fish and chips. Friendly team behind the counter and there was very little time spent waiting. We now have 2 really good chippies to choose from and we're right in the middle of both!
