Kai Sushi By Angus - Wembley

Just a short walk from Wembley Stadium, this Japanese sushi restaurant is a pleasant surprise tucked into an unexpected corner, sharing space inside a burger shop. Despite its modest setting, the dining experience feels warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, taking time to explain the menu and ensuring every order is prepared fresh. The sushi is made to order, which adds to both the quality and the experience. We tried a selection of different sushi rolls, and each one was well presented with fresh ingredients. The fish tasted clean and delicate, while the rice had the right texture and balance. What stood out most were the sauces drizzled on top of the rolls, which enhanced the flavours without overpowering them. Overall, it is a simple but satisfying place to enjoy fresh sushi near Wembley Stadium, especially for a casual and relaxed meal.

One of the best sushis I've had!! Absolutely outstanding experience, easily a 5/5. From the moment we walked in, the staff set the tone: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. Service was sharp and well-paced throughout. The sushi was exceptional, visibly fresh, clean flavors, and expertly prepared. You can tell they take sourcing and technique seriously. Every piece felt deliberate and high quality. The katsu deserves special mention: perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and clearly done in an authentic style rather than a watered-down version. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both on food quality and service, this is it. Will absolutely be coming back.

Had delicious sushi here before heading to Wembley Stadium - great little restaurant away from the busy streets! The sushi was very delicious and the staff were so friendly. The only reasons for three stars: the food took a long time to arrive and our starters arrived last - I think they might have been overwhelmed by the rush. But good thing we arrived early or might have missed our show. They also don’t provide tap water which was odd. That being said, tasty food and good to go before a show ! Reservation recommended

Absolutely amazing experience at Kai Sushi! The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the salmon, avocado and cucumber rolls, and everything tasted really fresh with generous fillings. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond with their customer service. The restaurant was clean, the food was prepared quickly, and the quality was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Kai Sushi to anyone looking for fresh, tasty sushi in Wembley. Thank you for such a great experience!

Kai Sushi By Angus - Wembley is hands down one of the best places to eat in London. The sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tastes high quality, and the atmosphere is welcoming and stylish. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.
