Amazing vegetarian options. Would highly recommend. Well worth traveling given the quality of food available. We ordered 2 vegetarian main courses - the vegetarian mixed platter, and the pan fried vegetables with goats cheese and shared both between us. Amazing flavours across each dish. We sat out in the shade, but plenty of seating indoors.
3 of us went for a meal and were very pleased. Excellent service, started with Turkish sausage, lamb and hummus and lamb parcels, all excellent. The Elif grill was excellent, salad was perfect to go with it. Asked for extra chilli and got a lovely huge dish finished off with Turkish tea. It's a must to visit!
Had a fantastic first visit to Elif in Yarm for lunch today. The lunch menu is incredible value at £17.50 for two courses. I ordered the halloumi fries to start followed by the chicken kebab, while my partner had the stuffed vine leaves and the halloumi wrap. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavourful, and the portion sizes were generous. The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and there was plenty of seating available during our lunchtime visit. Highly recommended—we will definitely be back!
Overall one of the best restaurants I've been to all round. Quality for money, portion size, taste, atmosphere, wine selection all 5*. Its family friendly, cosy, and beautifully decorated. The staff are super friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with everything. Coming in from London we have restaurants galore and alot are hit and miss. Had no complaints. Would definitely recommend the beetroot salad starter to have with bread. Delicious With a glass of wine about £30 per person
Decent and good value food. Moussaka is delicious. The lamb ribs were very good and Adana kebab also great tasting. Service was great.
Just ordered 1 starter, deep fried Halloumi fries and 2 mains. The 4x Halloumi fries weren't great for £7! Mains tasted nice but we're small and VERY expensive £22 and £28. Total bill £57 for a takeaway for 2. I was expecting it to be excellent. It tasted nice but was small for that price. Overpriced!
We shared delicious vine leaves for starters. Vegetarian platter, large portion which was very tasty. Lots of succulent chicken for myself. With a bottle of red wine total cost £68. Lovely setting, relaxed atmosphere.
