Nuova Italia

This is a local restaurant to us and we are really lucky, it’s fabulous! The staff are so friendly and always welcoming, the menu is really good, I particularly like the spaghetti bolognaise, the pizza and all the pasta dishes are to die for… we had a starter of the specials menu that was really nice as a treat. I’m not a fan of the dessert menu but the main dish is plenty of food. Free on site parking and I think when it’s not busy it’s pet friendly but you need to check! Busy which is a good sign. Food was excellent, generous portions and full of flavour. Ask to tone down a little if you prefer less chilli but our party enjoyed a good range of flavours lively atmosphere including outside option. Toilets were modern, clean and nicely designed. Mocktails also worth a try, refreshing and interesting. My colleagues assured me the house red was more than acceptable. Illchester is hreat for a stroll and only a few mins off the A303.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I walked into Nova Italia by myself and somehow left feeling like I’d spent the evening with family. Billy, Mirko, and Libby are absolutely spectacular human beings. They welcomed me with so much warmth, laughter, and genuine kindness that what was supposed to be a simple dinner turned into one of the best nights of my life. The food was wonderful, but it was the people who made the experience unforgettable. This is the kind of place that reminds you that sometimes you walk into a restaurant for a meal and walk out with a memory you’ll carry with you. Thank you, Billy, Mirko, and Libby. ❤️🇮🇹✨

Nuova Italia is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is stunning inside, with elegant décor, a warm ambience, and so much attention to detail that it instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest and most attentive I've come across. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and happy to help, making the whole experience feel personal rather than rushed. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really tell that pride goes into every plate that leaves the kitchen. What impressed me most was the value for money. Given the quality of the food, the service, and the overall dining experience, the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers so much without charging a premium. Nuova Italia has easily become one of my favourite places to eat, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic Italian food, exceptional service, and a wonderful atmosphere. As an Italian I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the good served here, the pizza is like back home or even better! Mirko made us feel welcomed and everyone from the staff was very polite and friendly! Definitely suggested to everyone fancying a taste of real Italian food.
