We found this little gem on a stay over in York. Authentic, Italian family owned restaurant with lovely atmosphere & great food. The staff are amazing. Lydia looked after us throughout. Whilst she had the balancing act of dealing with a very tricky customer & looking after all the rest of us, she did an amazing job. She was pleasant, polite, humorous and looked after all our needs & more. A very pleasant evening, thank you 🤩
Booked last minute on a Saturday night and had a wonderful meal. The pizzas were exceptional- fresh, authentic and sooo tasty. The rosemary potatoes were a lovely side dish too. The service was super fast and friendly, the prices awesome value - could not fault this place and will return every time we are in York! Side note just for veggies and vegans: there is a full vegan menu available 🙂
Came here for our last meal for my friends henny - it was stunning! Lovely building, staff were attentive and the food was amazing. There was something for everyone and despite having a group of 9 the food all arrived together as well. Price was so reasonable for the amount we had! Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in York!
For a busy restaurant with a lot of cover the servers did amazing and the food was equally as good. Thanks you for a perfect night and the best lamb cutlets I’ve ever had. And being short staffed you wouldn’t have noticed. Thanks you.
It’s always a bit of a gamble picking a place to eat in a new city. First time in York and hungry, so glad I picked this place. The food was delicious, the ambiance and playlist were great, and the service so welcoming. Thanks Chef Panos and Lydia.
