Definitely recommend Pera. Had dinner here with friends and we were very impressed. We shared the Dolma, the Peynir Delight and the Mucver - the mucver (courgette fritters) was a highlight but the Peynir Delight (goats cheese) was great too. I had the lamb Guvec and was impressed with the portion size, presentation and taste! Jose our waiter was attentive and friendly and kept our drinks topped up throughout our meal. Nice atmosphere too!

I visited for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing—everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great care. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. They checked in at the right times without being intrusive, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience with outstanding food and excellent service. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back again.

Visited for dinner with a few friends. Staff were really friendly - especially Jose who was really attentive. Excellent service. Hidden gem in the city centre. I’ve walked past this place a million times and not realised. Great food. Cute little atmosphere, perfect for a date. We will definitely be back.

I went midweek but feels like this place is not as well known as it should be so wasn't too busy. Had starters and mains and both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly and also appreciated the unexpected free pistachio shot at the end! Also really enjoyed the Turkish coffee to finish off.

We had a fantastic meal at Pera. We shared 3 meze to start and then a main each and we were stuffed! Fantastic service, very welcoming and attentive. Good advice about the wine list! Timings were good between ordering and receiving food especially for a Friday night!

We just had an incredible late lunch at Petra’s. Friendly and helpful service, excellent food, and a nice atmosphere. Not too casual and not too fancy. We recommend!

We had a wonderful lunch at Pera during Aberdeen Restaurant Week! My husband and I enjoyed the incredible value lunch offer, £30 for two, featuring a mix of hot and cold mezze. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellen. Our waiter was smiley, friendly, and attentive. We had a lovely window seat, and while it was quiet (only one other couple), we were well looked after. We started with a great selection of cold plates, delicious dips like hummus, aubergine, and cous cous, accompanied by fresh homemade brea, so many flavors to enjoy! Then we had a delicious small chicken salad plate added to the collection, followed by warm plates - chicken wing, courgette fritters, meat and more bread! We finished off with a medium sweet Turkish coffee. We were absolutely full by the end. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, nothing greasy or heavy. The only thing I'd note is the atmospher, it deserves to be busier! This place is an absolute hidden gem in Aberdeen. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
